Life in the Desert

On Jan 20 we left Oregon and started heading south. At this point we’ve been in Nevada for nearly a month. During that time we’ve been taking advantage of our proximity to Death Valley. Having never been to this iconic location, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time here. At times I find it difficult to verbalize what draws me to a landscape or scene. That is still true, but whatever it is, I feel like Death Valley embodies it perfectly.
