Public Land Sale Removed From Bill

The sale of public land has been removed from the One Big Beautiful bill. There’s no doubt that the immense public push back helped at least in part towards this result. Selling off public land will continue to appear in legislation, and the public will have to continue fighting to keep it. The war is not over, but at least these places are safe for now.
